President: Ruchita Agrawal, M.D.
Ruchita Agrawal MD, FAPA is a Board certified Adult Psychiatrist working as Associate Chief Medical officer at Seven Counties Services (community mental health). After completing Psychiatry residency from University of Louisville in 2012, she joined Seven Counties Services to follow her passion of treating patients with severe mental illness and addiction in the community. Dr. Agrawal is Assistant Professor at University of Louisville and is involved in education of residents as well as research work. She was awarded Frank Gaines MD award by Mental Health of America in October 2019 for significant contribution in treatment of patients with mental illness.
Vice President: Jonathan Martin, M.D.
Jonathan Martin, M.D, completed his training at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. When he isn’t practicing in Corbin, Kentucky, he is home on his farm raising chickens and practicing photography.
Secretary/Treasurer: Ali Farooqui, M.D.
Dr. Farooqui practices at Integrative Psychiatry where he treats patients using conventional treatments for mental illness along with cutting-edge interventional techniques. He is Clinical Faculty at the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry where he is involved in research and education of doctors and medical students. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Farooqui sits on boards for various medical and community organizations and is involved in organized medicine both locally and nationally. He received his Medical Doctorate at the University of Kentucky in 2010 and matched into Neurological Surgery at the University of Missouri. After leaving neurosurgery, he worked in health administration, private equity, and healthcare leadership roles before starting his psychiatric career.
