The nomination period for the 2025–2026 cycle opened on September 1, 2025, with applications due by November 7, 2025.

Volunteers may choose from a variety of leadership groups, including the Council on Addiction Psychiatry, the Council on Advocacy and Government Relations, the Council on Children, Adolescents, and Their Families, the Council on Digital Health, Innovation, and Technology, and the Council on Quality Care.
